Aprica's history as a ski destination dates back to the early 20th century, with the first ski lifts appearing in the 1930s. Over the years, it has grown into a modern and well-equipped resort, boasting over 50 kilometers of pistes served by a network of efficient lifts. The area is particularly known for its excellent snow record, thanks to its high altitude and favorable microclimate. The resort is divided into several sectors, each offering a unique skiing experience. Palabione is known for its challenging runs, while Magnolta is perfect for families and beginners. Baradello offers stunning views and a variety of slopes. Beyond skiing and snowboarding, Aprica offers a range of activities to keep you entertained. Try snowshoeing through pristine forests, ice skating on the local rink, or simply relaxing in one of the many mountain restaurants and enjoying traditional Italian cuisine.
